so fast they can identify 8 suspects and arrest all of them ?

very effiencient

This kind of crime easiest to solve, just call friend of a friend of a friend of a friend and BINGO. The random crimes are hardest to solve and hit rate is very low in the SPF.

Omega was formed in the 80s at the old 'chia geng' prison. The founder name was a mat called "yanbai" (currently detained under criminal law section 55). It was a pure malay only gang and their main 'business' is drug trafficking. The difference between Omega and other Malay gang are most of the member do not have tattoos and they do not accept other ethic to join the gang. In Changi prison, the 2 dominant mat gang are 369 & Omega, these 2 groups often have fights and gang crash inside the Changi prison compound and on the street. If you see the mats with lots of tattoos on his body they are most likely to be a 369 member.
As our new Chinese generation become more educated, the Chinese gang was over ruled by the Malay gang in terms of population and brutality.

Bismi-llāhi ar-rahmāni ar-rahīmi. Omega is jihad and Omega members are mujahideen. To jihad is to strive in the way of Allah, and Omega symbolises a struggle. Omega members struggle, sacrificing money, blood, limb and life to prevent the oppression of Malay Muslim IDs by Chinese infidels. Omega is not blind to members of Chinese SS (secret society) beating up and bullying our fellow brothers to showcase their masculinity. But the worst are the Malays in Chinese SS, who pray to Chinese idols, perform Chinese rituals and join the Chinese infidels to crush other Malay Muslims! Worst than the Chinese infidels are these Malays who betray their race, abandon their religion. They shed the blood of their brothers while glorifying their oppressors. They’re a norm, not an exception. Look at the Malay leaders in Singapore slaving under the iron fist of Chinese PAP . like puppets! PAP tells them to be moderate Muslims, they nod. PAP tells them to sanction organ donation they kick Islam away and abide by the ways of the infidel Chinese PAP. Malays in Chinese SS and in the PAP while they suppress their Malay Muslim brothers are themselves being suppressed by the Chinese. If they retaliate, the Chinese get rid of them. Omega wages war to stop the Chinese SS from oppressing Malay Muslims, in prison and in the underworld.

On 23rd September 1989, seven ethnic ‘Malay-Muslim’ inmates incarcerated in the Singapore Chia Keng Prison swore upon the Holy Quran, an oath of secret allegiance to each other and a pledge of martyrdom, to establish the Omega secret society. The pledge of martyrdom, initially conceptualised by the seven ethnic ‘Malay-Muslim’ founders of the Omega secret society ideologically refers to the endeavour of securing and protecting the interests of two separate groups of ‘Malay-Muslims,’ simultaneously reflected in the above excerpt.

He is likely to be either a young punk chow ah beng or a mat.

Moral of the story : Go home early to sleep instead of chionging til the wee hours of the morning!

Some people like to go out abnormally more than others, and take pride in that. They should die on the streets then, that is their life and their story.

They should convict these gangsters on murder charges and hang a few, insted of charging them for murder and then jailing them for a few years on reduced charges of causing a riot or manslaughter. Too many cases like these are plea bargained down to lesser charges. Why are there hardly any kidnappings or gun related crimes here? Its coz both carry death penalties. Once these assholes see some of their peers hanging by their balls on a Fri morning, they will suddenly see the light. Remember, we are not talking of the hard core guys of the past who had a code and was not afraid to die.

This is based on the "It could happen to me" theory.
Gang killings like these are never going to affect the upper strata of society.
Kidnappings or gun related crimes certainly would.

OKay firstly this sounds like hog wash to me.

Not the swearing on quran and the formation of the gang but their reasons for forming the gang and of course their usage of religion and calling it jihad to further their own selfish motives.

Firstly how are malays joining a chinese gang traitors to their race or religion? What's wrong with a malay not being a muslim? Therefore can i call a chinese person whom becomes a muslim and doesn't practice chinese traditions or joins malay gangs a traitor? This is sg and i believe that everyone has the freedom to believe in whatever religion he chooses to regardless of his race without being called names.

2ndly what do they mean by getting bullied by chinese gangs? The way they write it, it's as if chinese form gangs to racially beat up malays. The only place that has these sort of things happening is in the US where skin heads and the kkk are formed specifically to promote racism. Chinese gangs fight other chinese gangs and i bet they fight other chinese gangs most of the time. To even put the word jihad and give it a religious slant. What a freaking joke! In singapore! Where the poor malays are being bullied by huge numbers of chinese gangs and gang members. There are large number of chinese gangs in singapore whoose sole purpose in joining the gang is to whack up malays hence it is jihad for this omega gang to fight back. It's as if malays don't create problems or harrass chinese people themselves.

Last i heard omega is also a secret society aka gang. I heard they deal in drugs and they engage in fights and go to jail. So good muslims deal in drugs, use parangs to kill and go to jail? What a joke. How come i never hear christians forming a gang to wage a crusade against others whom they feel are bullying them and do drugs and engage in gang fights? Oh yes cos once u become a christian u're supposed to do good deeds. Somehow a christian cannot preach the same sort of msg to influence other christians unlike the muslims.

Also 369 might be a chinese gang but i believe in some branches there are more malays in the gang. Therefore it's a malay gang with a chinese name.

7 charged with murder

7 charged with murder

<!-- by line --> By Teh Joo Lin
<!-- end by line -->
<!-- end left side bar --> SEVEN members of a gang who allegedly slashed a man multiple times were charged with murder in a district court on Sunday morning. The suspects, aged between 17 and 40, included two brothers - Muhammad Hariz Fitri Jauhari, 17, and Fahmi Fitri Jauhari, 19. The others were Mohamad Ja'afar Zakaria, 17, Muhammad Saiful Islam Simon, 19, Muhammad Ridhuan Aziman, 19, Muhammad Suhairi Badron, 22, and Affendi Sohor, 40.

The court heard that the seven, along with several unknown assailants, were part of an unlawful assembly that attacked Mr Mohamad Noraidi Zahari, 28, between 4am and 4.30am last Friday on the ground floor of Orchard Plaza. Based on news reports, a gang of about 20 men attacked Mr Noraidi with parangs, glass bottles and a chair. He died from his injuries in hospital at about 5am.

The seven who were charged Sunday appeared glum and solemn when they were led into the court by a posse of CID officers at about 10.30am. They exchanged words among themselves until they were reminded to keep quiet. The court ordered them remanded for a week pending further investigations. The case is expected to be mentioned again on Friday. Murder is punishable by hanging.

a sudden thought.
death penalty is based on the principles - a life for a life.
so technically should 7 be charged with first degree murder for the killing of 1?

Why not?
If a murderer kills 7 people, is he expected to die 7 times?
If all 7 contributed to the death with the intention to kill, then all should face the death penalty.

369 is offshoot of the Sio Kun Tong...... when some SKT leaders started to recruit other races into the gang.... other senior chinese SKT members were not happy with the situation...... they tried to resolve the problem by grouping these pariahs together and naming them 369.....

Many chinese SKT members left the gang and eventually the pariahs outnumbered the remaining chinese members and they took over the leadership of SKT..... and they prefer to be called 369 rather than SKT.

When did all of this take place?

I believe this was already taking place during the 90s. During that time they were also called busok gina and since they used a malay term to call their gang it means that there were sufficient malays in the gang already.

In any case 369 is always known as the smelly gang.

Too bad for him he attempted the Took Leng How exit. He should have tried the Mas Selamat Katari exit.
