Personally, I have enjoyed this Forum as I often get to see how real life gets played in this Forum in relation to Points & Power. In this Forum, Points & Power Equates to Wealth and Prestige in the Real World...
Forumers have a "job" to earn "weath"- ie. to write and post.
Hardworking Forumers write quality posts and earn Points over the years ("wealth"). With wealth, they slowly develop Power ("prestige"). The taste of Power to reward or punish is akin to a rich man's ability to exercise his ego.
Other medicore Forumers (PS - probably me included in this category), really do not care about quality but do a decent average job to earn "wealth". We moved along as society goes along.
Some others do it the "short cut" way, by asking for points at the Rubbish Heap from LTB. Akin to this, is like Buying lottery in real life. If Ltb gives points, the short-cut forumer strikes. Sometimes, other rich and unknown forumers upz points of others tremendously - big strike in lottery
Then, we have the successful forumers who create cronies - just like the rich people in real life do too - to preserve their status in the forum - they have other nicks and pump it up with points or form loose alliances with other forumers.
Once in a while, the Rich and Famous will have disagreements - the Fishy Pie and Alamaking gang. It reflects real life battles for wealth and prestige that we human beings are primarily design for and such traits surfaced in this Forum just like in real life.
Thats why I find this forum interesting as it actually shows the real life - in cyberspace setup. With anonmity, this becomes more fun and generates the "adrenalin" in forumers' pursuit for weath and prestige...
