Just caught acclaimed taiwan movie Cape no. 7. Not bad for a taiwan effort (accolades with 9 golden horse award nominations). Lighthearted social observations of a small seaside town with romance of musician and a jap girl (interwined with ww2 love story). Nice, heartwarming end with pop concert by local motley crew before celebrity came on. D

Daniel Craig is different breed of James Bond....not so much into the high tech stuff but use brawns more...but story line a bit confusing...
This movie released under various titles in different cuntries as - "Asian Godfather"; "Little Red Emperor"; "My PAPpy was a Gangster"; "Men in White"; "Me Tarzan You Peasant"; "Dirty Harry in Stinkapore"....... even got XXX rated version - "The World's Greatest Gangbang - 4 million peasants getting screwed"
I suggest reading the original comicbook by Adam Moore. Much better than this film which is based on the comicbook. While you are at it read Adam Moore's other classic Watchman.

Goodfellas
If you love mafia or crime dramas, you have to watch this. And it's still damn good even if you're not fans of this genre.
Fight Club
A twist at the end and a violent and fun concept. A must-watch. I have a special feature DVD of this show, and recently bought a bluray version off Amazon.
The Illusionist
A unique movie with Edward Norton again. It's not a blockbuster hit, but it scores well in many critical reviews. You've got to watch this one.
American Gangster
One of the better violent crime dramas in the past few years. You cannot go wrong with Denzel Washington.
Identity
I know someone already mentioned this. But you have to watch this. Love the twists. Hope didnt spoil if for u.
