S'porean found dead in toilet
<!-- by line --> <!-- end by line --> KUALA LUMPUR - A SINGAPOREAN tourist is believed to have choked to death from burning charcoal smoke inside the bathroom of a budget hotel on Jalan Sultan here on Wednesday. Police were called to investigate after a cleaner in the hotel complained of foul smell from the bathroom. 'Police had to break down the bathroom door since it was locked from inside. The man was found dead in a sitting position on the toilet bowl,' ACP Zulkarnain said, adding that burnt charcoal ash was found inside the bathroom. The windows were closed. Police had classified the case as sudden death and the body of the man, who was believed to have been dead for 48 hours ago, was sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post-mortem, he said. -- BERNAMA
