<!-- story content : start --> THE cost of damage caused to a torched mosque in Siglap has been amended to $4.5 million from the original $1 million. The 14-year-old juvenile, who was charged two months ago with the alleged crime at Masjid Kampung Siglap, now faces an amended charge of mischief by fire by burning the Marine Parade Road mosque with a lighter at about 2.05pm on Oct 6. He has also been charged with criminal trespass at Apex Harmony Lodge and fraudulent possession of another student's ez-link card on Oct 4. At his fifth appearance in the Juvenile Court on Wednesday, Mr Faizal Wahyuni asked for a two-week adjournment to take instructions from his clients. He also sought bail for the first time. The police prosecutor asked for $20,000 but this was reduced to $12,000 by Juvenile Court judge Lim Keng Yeow. The case will be mentioned on Dec 23.
