Officers on anti-crime rounds on Tuesday spotted the men, aged 53 and 75, behaving suspiciously at a bus-stop outside People's Park Complex. One was then seen reaching into a woman's handbag while the other kept a lookout. Shortly after, they were seen targeting another woman who was counting the money she had just received from a nearby money changer. An EZ-link card which was reported stolen a day earlier was also found on one of the suspects. The two suspects will be charged for theft in court on Thursday.
