Former Ren Ci Hospital's CEO, assistant to go on trial in April

SINGAPORE: The founder and former CEO of Ren Ci Hospital and his assistant will go on trial in April.
Shi Ming Yi and his former personal assistant, Raymond Yeung Chi Hang, will be jointly tried in a district court from April 2 to 24.
Venerable Ming Yi faces ten charges including forgery and misappropriation of funds. The alleged offences occurred between 1998 and 2008.
Raymond Yeung is being charged with abetting the Venerable to falsify a Ren Ci document.
A former manager, Phua Seow Hwa, is also facing one charge of conspiring to knowingly give false information to the Commissioner of Charities. His case will be heard after the duo's trial.
