Brothers charged with break-in <!--10 min-->

THREE brothers were charged in court on Wednesday with housebreaking and theft of coins totalling $30 from a coffeeshop in Hougang. Mohammed Hasmi Abdul Aziz, 28, Mohamed Hasrul, 21, and Mohammed Hasmel, 19, allegedly broke into the coffeeshop at Hougang Street 11 and stole the money from Mr Lim Kee Ping at about 2.30am on Dec 13. The trio were remanded until Wednesday. If convicted, each faces a jail term of between two and 14 years.
