In Singapore, wasn't it the Chinese extremists who rioted violently? Wasn't it these extremists who organised riots, mobilizing the Chinese trade unions, as well as the Chinese Middle Schools?
In Malaya, wasn't it the Chinese Communists who used the Chinese villagers to support them during the Malayan Emergency? Wasn't it the Chinese villagers who gave the Communists their lifeline, smuggled rice into the jungles? Didn't they help the Commies by being their runners, feeders and spies?
Today, some of the hardcore Chinese are more willing to be associated with the history of Sun Yet Sen, rather than Singapore's own history - Teo Chee Hean being one of them!
So what's with this turnaround that the Malays can't be trusted, when you can see with your eyes who are more willing to default "to the other side"?
